Every .50 cal ammo can is in good to very good condition. No holes. Rubber seals on inside lid are in excellent condition so the can completely seals. The can is empty. The outside of the can may show some signs of wear like fading or may have stencil on the outside. Some cans may have surface scratches or chipped paint on the outside of them. Every can is inspected before shipping to meet this listing criteria. What the writing says will vary from can to can. For example, one can may say "5.56mm" instead of "50 Cal". Some cans may be painted over by the military.

50cal surplus ammo cans
I am satisfied with my purchase. Bought six cans that ended up costing me $13 a piece shipped to my door, which is reasonable. All have minor surface rust that can be taken off with a little sand paper and painted over. All have rubber gaskets in good working condition. All have kids and latches in good working order. 4 of them have perfect interiors, while two of them have surface rust on the bottom corners of the can. It can be removed with sandpaper as well but is a little tricky to get at (hence 4 out of 5 stars) It is getting harder and harder to get army surplus ammo cans in reasonable shape for a decent price. If you purchase these from Sgt Troys knowing ahead of time that theyre not in new condition I think you too will be satisfied. For the price I paid I can recommend these cans.
