Authentic Military Boonie Hat
This original boonie hat is made of durable 50% nylon 50% cotton ripstop fabric. The ventilation vents on each side of the hat give this hat great breathability. A webbing around the brim of the hat is great for fishing lures, shot shells, and anything else you could come up with to utilize. The 2-1/2: wide brim is wonderful at keeping the sun off your neck and ears. The hat is also made in USA.

Excellent Hat/Love the Color (Navy); Made in the USA!
Overall a very positive experience. I bought this boonie to replace another one I bought in a pinch (ie, in desperation) before floating the Comal River in Texas. I really did not want a camo or earth-tone hat and was pleased to find navy blue as an option. The hat is very well built as you would expect from an American manufacturer and government contractor. I was able to get a 7 3/4 to fit my large melon and it fits perfectly. Although you won't see it on the picture for the navy blue hat, it DOES come with a chin strap. My other hat was made in Sri Lanka and this one's made in the USA...buy American!
